Russell obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Cape Town, South Africa in 1995. He then worked in a private practise for three years before moving to the United Kingdom in 1998. Since being in the UK he has worked in a variety of settings including the Private Sector, Occupational Health and the National Health Service. Currently he is employed as the Clinical Lead for Musculoskeletal Outpatient Services at St Thomas ’ Hospital, London . Russell has recently completed his Master of Science degree in Pain at King’s College London. His specialist interests are in Chronic Pain, Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue. An enthusiastic sportsman, he regularly looses squash games, and tries to fit in exercise around two young children.
